We started Aiken Vintage Auctions because we’re collectors and auction people ourselves.
Most auction houses are just not very customer friendly… They have very rigid rules about pickup times and places, don’t offer shipping and simply want to sell everything as-is, where-is.
When you’re liquidating an estate, downsizing your home, cleaning out a storage or just selling some valuables to free up some money, the last thing you want is an auction company that just doesn’t get it!
At Aiken Vintage, we’re different. We’re friendly, not just on the phones, but in our service approach. Photos of the items are of low-quality, with poor lighting and descriptions lack the depth needed to communicate what you’re selling to a buyer on the internet.
At Aiken Vintage, we operate from a professional office building in Spring, Texas with a separate retail building, and have satellite locations in Alabama, California and soon to be Florida. We have a dedicated professional photographer, shipping department, customer service personnel, content writers, master jeweler, gemologist, numismatist, auto appraisal expert and several antique and collectible experts.
We also spend heavily on advertising, with a dynamic presence on Facebook, Instagram, Google, Billboards, home pages of major auction sites and more. In addition, we maintain the largest email database of any auction company in the State of Texas. Our list of buyers is approaching 400,000 names, gathered over the past 20 years. When you consign your items with us, one thing’s for sure: you’re going to get exposure!
Finally, we charge NO up-front fees. If we accept your items for consignment, we only get paid if you get paid, so we’re in the same boat…as it should be. Your success is our success.
